Long Beach Zine Fest 2016

Celebrating Southern California’s independent publishing and DIY culture, the second annual Long Beach Zine Fest will take place Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA).

Long Beach Zine Fest is a one day public event promoting zines, zine culture and independent publishing that will bring together more than 100 writers, artists, photographers, and DIY advocates from Long Beach and surrounding cities who believe in the power of print as a viable artistic medium.

It will feature an open art marketplace where you can browse and purchase chapbooks, comics, graphic novels and zines directly from their creators. The event also features creative workshops, panel discussions, and a curated selection of local artisan makers, as well as live music from Long Beach based bands throughout the day.
