Beginning at 2pm, each participant recieved a self-care starter kit, consisting of a tongue scraper (helping remove the bacteria-filled coating on your tongue, combat bad breathe and stimulate digestion), Curcuma's Golden Paste (used to make Curcuma's infamous Golden Mylk at home), Abhyanga Oil (ideal for calming, self-massages in the evening) and a dry brush (stimualting the lymphatic system among other benefits).
After reviewing the components of the kit, attendees took an Ayurvedic Quiz to learn their dosha. Rachel explained each of the three doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) and how they can represent different energies that define every person's makeup. Knowing your dosha can help live a healthier, more balanced life.
